From a quick 10 minute amphibious experience to the remote south-west wilderness or sunny east coast, Above & Beyond exists to provide it’s customers with an experience they will never forget.
After taking off from the heart of Hobart’s waterfront, this scenic flight will give you a bird’s eye view over our beautiful city, before heading south to follow the River Derwent’s western shore as far as North West Bay. From here, our journey heads east to the rugged cliffs and white sandy beaches of Bruny Island. We then head back up the river’s eastern shore, reaching the famous Tasman Bridge and experiencing views of the majestic Kunanyi/Mt Wellington. We finish with a river landing and return to dock at Franklin Wharf.
Fly in style direct from Franklin Wharf and head north following the River towards the sweeping hills of the Derwent Valley. Touching down on the pristine water way, greeted by a member of the Meadowbank Farm and Vineyard for a winery tour. After enjoying the tour through the hills of Meadowbank, experience the delights of the wine tasting and a gourmet lunch hamper with some of Tasmanians finest produce. Take a bottle home with you to enjoy after your scenic flight back to Hobart.
This scenic flight departs from Franklin Wharf and heads South-East to the spectacular Tasman Peninsula. From here we will take in the famous Three Capes from a perspective that not many people get to experience. A touch down at Port Arthur to view the UNESCO World Heritage listed convict site and its surrounds from the water. We’ll then make our way towards Cape Raoul and return to Hobart with fantastic views of the capital city and Kunanyi/Mt Wellington.
Maria Island is a mountainous island located just off the east coast of Tasmania. Fly right from Hobart waterfront and take in views of the stunning East Coast before landing on the incredibly beautiful grass runway of Maria Island. The 115.5-square-kilometre island is contained within the Maria Island National Park and is a natural wildlife sanctuary and offshore retreat with historic ruins, sweeping bays, dramatic cliffs and plenty of stories to tell. Enjoy a short walk on Maria Island followed by a prepared gourmet picnic hamper.
The fastest way to experience the wild west, leaving you feeling enriched and inspired. This trip gives you a spectacular overview of South West Tasmania taking in views of Lake Pedder before one of the best water landings you will ever encounter, landing on the mighty Gordon River. Upon arrival, take a short walk to Sir John Falls then sit and enjoy our prepared gourmet picnic hamper while taking it all in.
